Preparation

It is very important to ensure the surface is clean prior to installation. Use a microfibre cloth and surface cleaner such as Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. Wash your hand before installation to limit oily residue on the sticking surface of the vinyl. It is important to remove all dust particles as they may cause air pockets that will prevent the vinyl from sticking.

Remove from Packaging

The decal should arrive in an envelope. If it is not flat, remove and leave it on a flat surface at room temperature until it flattens.

Steps

1. Start by lifting the entire sticker from the backing paper. Try to place it on your fingertips to move it roughly in place, allowing space to manoeuvre.
2. Be careful while lifting, especially the thin pieces, not to stretch the vinyl as this will permanently deform the piece.
3. Start by aligning the centre. Once properly aligned, you can re-position the 3 leaves one after another.
4. Place the vinyl into position slowly without pressing on it as you might need to move it multiple times. Try not to create air bubbles. Check that no silver is visible. If silver is visible, lift the vinyl gently and replace again into position. This might be required multiple times.
5. Once everything is in place, firmly press down on the decal to lock in place.

Tips

1. If tiny bubbles are present, the air release technology should allow them to disappear within 24 hours. For larger bubbles, you can lift the vinyl again to try and make them smaller or you can use a hairdryer that should remove almost any bubble, just be careful not to damage the vinyl with the heat.
2. It might be necessary to move the vinyl multiple times before it is in the correct position. The first time you attempt this it is unlikely to get it perfect.
